Helen Sawyer Hogg was inducted into the Canadian Science and Technology Hall of Fame on May 20, 2004, in Ottawa. (The Hall of Fame is based at the Canada Science and Technology Museum). This nomination was supported by many in the astronomical community on behalf of the Canadian Astronomical Society, the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, the Royal Canadian Institute, and the Canadian astronomy community in general.
